Join us to be involved in the bleeding disorder community!

Being a part of CHS is easy for anyone connected to the bleeding disorder community. We no longer require membership fees. Getting on our contact list helps you with access to educational materials, the Buddy Buzz newsletter and emails about events in Connecticut, throughout New England and around the country. Sign up to be on our mailing and email list here.

“Community is key!”

Being involved with the Connecticut Hemophilia Society (CHS) is more than education and advocacy, we have fun too. By joining our community, you will be invited to go to baseball games, snowshoe walks, paint nights and more.

CHS offers monetary support when living with a bleeding disorder threatens your financial security. CHS helps fund programs provided by the New England Hemophilia Association, for instance, their annual Family Camp, by paying for Connecticut families who attend. We also help with travel to other New England area bleeding disorder events.

By far the most important thing we offer is a connection to others who are living with the same issues you are facing. Something we hear often is the value of having someone who understands or has been in a similar situation.

So join us for fun, for understanding, for education and for community.

Connecticut Hemophilia Society needs you!

Are you an excellent planner? Do you like to make the party happen? Do you have ideas for programs that you would like to see come to life?

CHS is looking for volunteers with the energy and organizational skills to help us plan and implement our meetings, programs and activities. We don’t need someone who has a degree in planning, we need you. We need someone who had ideas and passion for helping.
